Announcement from Gillian Pye re: WiGS Dublin Conference:

Dear all,
I am delighted to be able to say that registration for our WiGS conference in Dublin is finally open. I am attaching a provisional schedule, a registration form with fee information and information on transport and accommodation. I hope that this is helpful as you plan your trip to Dublin. For those travelling from the UK in particular, I would like to mention that as well as the usual air routes sometimes the ‘sail and rail’ option can offer good value.

You will notice that our schedule includes a translation workshop in which everyone is invited to participate. The workshop will involve one of our invited writers, Angelika Overrath, and I will be sending out some materials for the workshop at a later date.

I would also like to remind postgraduate students, that as always, WIGS offers travel grants for postgraduates attending the meeting. Please note however, that it was agreed at the Leeds meeting that grants would be capped at £75 (or the Euro equivalent). Full details are on: http://www.wigs.ac.uk/travelgrants.html.
