The Research Training Group is advertising

1 Postdoctoral position (TV-L E 13 – 100%), available from 01.07.2015 and tenable for 4 years.

Applications are invited for a doctoral position tenable for three years from 1st July 2015. Fields considered will be Theology (Church History, Liturgical Studies), History (Mediaeval and Early Modern), History of Art, German Language and Literature studies, Scandinavian Studies, Medieval Archaeology, Jewish Studies, Islamic Studies or any related subject. The position is open to graduates of any university who have obtained an academic degree equivalent to the German Diplom, Staatsexamen or Magister Artium. Applicants will also have a PhD in one of the above mentioned fields before commencing the Fellowship and have demonstrated a capability to produce high standard research.

Interdisciplinary projects which are embedded in the conception of the Research Training Group and pursue the idea of Religious Knowledge are welcome.
