WIGS/AGS letter opposing proposed cuts to Modern Language degrees at the University of Aberdeen

Women in German Studies (WIGS) has joined forces with the Association for German Studies (AGS) in writing to the Principal of the University of Aberdeen concerning the grave threat to Modern Languages degree programmes there. A copy of the letter can be found below.

Members and supporters of WIGS are also strongly encouraged to express their own opposition to the cuts by supporting the Postcard Campaign, organised by colleagues at Aberdeen, that aims to showcase the many reasons why the university should keep its language degrees. Further information about the proposed cuts can be found in this article in the THES by Charles Burdett.
